16. The founding of a workshop

With a view to prepare for future contingencies the Guru now started a factory at Anandpur for the manufacture of guns, swords, ammunition and other implements of war. Henceforth though the disciples from the war-like tribes of the North-West continued to supply weapons of the best steel and finest make, the Guru was no longer dependent for war materials on this source alone.
